10.16.12 WeddingsNC Wedding Photography: Amanda and James |
W e were so honored and excited to photograph James and Amanda's wedding day. Both passionate and creative people, we felt certain we'd have a great day with them.
Amanda and James started off as best friends, but quickly found that living without each other wasn't nearly as fun and exciting as living with each other. So...they got engaged, set a date and started planning. It was a beautiful fall wedding...made even more perfect by Amanda's genuine and gorgeous smile and James' excitement to see his beautiful bride. A fter thirteen years of waiting on the right time, Lindsey and Chris FINALLY said their "I dos" this past weekend at Adaumont Farm in Trinity, NC. Lindsey was stunning...she was classy and glamourous...and the perfect glimpse of beauty for a man who had waited SO long to see her all dressed in white! And while the rain was a bit of a beast, it made for some wonderfully sweet "first look" photos--and even gave us enough of a break to have the ceremony outside!

M eredith and Tripp were married a few weekends ago at Adaumont Farm out in Trinity, NC. Adaumont is one of my favorite places...I love the wide open spaces...the cozy barn full of adorable little nooks...and I love that its so close to home. T racey and Mark met online--I think this was the first time we've had the pleasure of photographing a wedding of two people who met in such a cool way! Their first date saw them battling a tornado and subsequent power outages and road closings. They enjoyed a candle lit dinner at the only restaurant in town with power.

| Where do I start with these two....
Emily has to be one of my favorite people on the planet. She has a sweetness that just permeates her entire being and is so obvious to those she comes in contact with (just ask my little Layla--she was smitten with Emily from the first day she met her). And then there's Trent. Trent is funny...outgoing and loves the Lord. And the thing I like most about him is that he likes Emily much more than he likes himself (and that's rare to see these days). I was so excited that we had the opportunity to photograph their wedding day. It was so beautiful to watch a couple enter into the covenantal bond of marriage knowing that it is a reflection of Christ's bond with His Bride, the Church...knowing that they would hold the other higher than themselves. Emily and Trent...you guys are beautiful from the inside out. I am grateful for your friendship and so very thankful for your relationship with each other. It is my prayer that He continues to equip you to do His work, to run the race side by side...that your relationship brings glory and honor to His name... Congratulations guys! We love y'all! |
