06.08.13Bridal Portraits Kathryn Margaret

T hese are a few images from Kathryn's bridal session. She and Josh were married on June 1st. I can't wait to share some of their wedding photos with you. You'll notice some extra props in some of the images ... a blanket, a truck, and pets. All of these things have special meaning to Kathryn and she wanted to be certain they were included in the photos. Just like her bridal session, their wedding was sprinkled with bits and pieces of their lives, telling the story of who they are -- a southern lady and a southern gentleman with a strong passion for each other and for life.

B efore we get to Anna and Coles beautiful vineyard wedding, I wanted to share some of her bridal portraits with you all. Anna is such a beautiful girl and was incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. It really made for a fun day at Childress Vineyards.

09.07.10Bridal Portraits Natalie's Bridal Portrait Session

W hen I was a little boy, my friends and I would get on our bikes and late in the warm summer evenings we would ride over to Finch Farm Road. We would find a place in the woods to ditch our bicycles and then sneak down to the lake at the old Wheatmore Dairy Farm. As the evening sun began to set and the shadows started to lengthen we would enjoy a nice little swim. After a refreshing swim we would sit along the bank and listen to the frogs and crickets and tell stories that only little boys could understand. The farm as it once was no longer exist. The Petty's bought the land and made it their home. It is now called Adaumont Farm in honer of their children Adam, Austin, and Montgomery Lee. It's a beautiful place with white fences, horses, and wide open spaces, a great place for a wedding. Natalie and Drew had their beautiful wedding there this past weekend and by the end of this week I plan to have some of the photos up on our blog so for now... I'd like to share a few images from Natalie's bridal portrait session.

05.21.10Bridal Portraits Greensboro Bridal Portrait Photography - Danielle

M onths before each lovely wedding, we usually do a bridal portrait session. Almost always done on location, they are one of my most favorite sessions to do. I especially love doing them when the bride and I are on the same page. Danielle and I spent about an hour and a half doing the portraits that most brides have come to expect. At the end of the session I asked her to remove her veil and let her hair down... wow! What I wanted to achieve was to bring out what I believe to be most beautiful about a young lady waiting to be married. A simple, yet sexy innocence that is often hid by bouquets, make-up, fancy hair, bridal veils, and overpowering backgrounds.
