I 'm sure you all have heard me say this before, but I'll just go ahead and say it again--Greenville, SC has to be one of my favorite cities to visit. I love the vibrancy of the city and the small, southern town feel. I love that there are tons of little nooks to tuck into and fall in love with. It was the perfect setting for Amanda and Dusty's engagement session.

A my walked through our door for a consultation several months ago. She was like a breath of fresh air--her smile was genuine and contagious. She laughed easily and didn't take herself too seriously. We were thrilled when she chose us to photograph her wedding day because we just knew that her personality would certainly weave itself throughout her wedding.
Last weekend we had the chance to spend some time with both Amy and her fiancee Brandon. It was a beautiful day to be wandering around the grounds of Graylyn Estate...and just look at Amy's smile! I'll bet you will catch yourself smiling right back at her! |

I had the pleasure of photographing Meredith and Tripp a few weeks ago. They are getting married in the fall at Adaumont Farm in Trinity--so we took a trip out there to do their engagement photos. It was cold and windy, which made for a little bit of a challenge but a LOT of laughs. We had so much fun and are looking forward to what will certainly be a beautiful September wedding day.

W e always get SUPER excited when a visually literate bride and groom walk through the door. And it is always a nice bonus when they are real and smitten with each other. Amanda and James are no exception. They are so much fun to be around--full of life, excited about their future together and completely unafraid to be themselves in front of the camera. We had so much fun during their engagement session that I'm impatiently waiting for their sure-to-be memorable Revolution Mill wedding in 2012! |

I met Kristen over a year ago. We developed a quick bond and I knew instantly that I'd like her--a lot. Kristen likes to run--well, that's sort of an understatement. Kristen likes to run like a maniac. She's done two Iron Man competitions along with a laundry list of other endurance competitions. I've ran with her a few times and she nearly killed me each time :) I remember our first run together--17 miles just weeks after I had finished the Marine Corps Marathon. Have mercy. The highlight of that run for me was hearing her story--how she became a runner AND how she found Roland.
Kristen met Roland while training for a triathlon in Winston Salem. Because she had be burned in the past, she kept him at arms length for a while. But he was quite handsome and she was gorgeous--and the chemistry was there. Fortunately for us, Roland FINALLY popped the question and dad got the opportunity to photograph the sweetness between those two! Roland, you are a very lucky man--you know Kristen has a level of commitment and devotion that many of us just can't comprehend. How amazing that you are the object of her commitment and devotion! Congratulations guys...can't wait to celebrate the big day with y'all! ~Lindsey~ |
