The Miracle of Birth - Adalei Grace

A
fter nine months of anticipation, baby Adalei made her appearance. Yesterday evening she was pushed from the security of the womb to this new, wonderful, and sometimes frightening experience called life. If the sky were made of paper and I had a river full of ink, and if I were the worlds finest poet, I could never describe what the miracle of birth means to me! I could hear her crying as I walked down the hallway and just couldn't get to the room fast enough. Although I'd never seen her before, it seemed as though I recognized her cry and instantly... I loved her!

A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.

Lexington Children's Photography - Charlotte & Bea

I
posted some photos recently of The Gray family from one of our "Fall at the Farm" sessions and I just completed a second session with the Gray's at Grimes Park, in their neighborhood. It was fun to get some different shots of them to add to the storybooks we are designing for each of the girls. Once we get the books designed I will post them on the site for you to view.
One of the things Karen and I really enjoy, post photography, is the album design work we do for our clients. Designing albums is another area of creativity that allows us to show the photographs in a storybook style.

Here are a few photos from the park session of Charlotte and Bea.

Check back with us soon, by this time tomorrow we should have a new addition to our family and will be sharing some pics. We are very excited to finally meet Adalei Grace!

Greensboro Maternity Photography - Natasha

ill it be a boy or a girl. Will it become a doctor or perhaps a teacher. Who will it look like, and who will it act like. While a young mother carries this little miracle inside of her, she will ask these questions and many more. She will soon realize for the first time, what it's like to love something more than life itself. All of the things that held great value will become dim as she focuses on that one little soul. Even her own life will become more precious as she realizes that no one else can care for her tender child like she can. The rest of her life will be devoted to being the best mother she possibly can be. She will look forward and anticipate long walks and meaningful talks, and she will look back and always think she could have done more. Other than God's love, nothing compares to the love a mother has for her child. As a photographer and a quite observer of life's most precious moments, I'm privy to see such things and for that... I am blessed.

I've watched Natasha grow from a little girl. I've known her for many years and I am excited to see her become the wonderful mother she is preparing to become and looking forward to meeting Luke very soon!

Greensboro Family Photography ~ The Cooks

e finished our last "Fall at The Farm" session a few weeks ago and it was just in time. Most of the leaves had fallen from the trees leaving a clear path for the cool north wind to blow across the front porch of the old house ... leaving little ears and noses bright red. We love shooting photos there, the light is always great and the kids are fascinated with the weathered front porch and the squeaking doors. We play in the leaves and climb trees, the things kids are made for and love to do. Special thanks to Heather and her three beautiful children, Jackson, Regan and Lindsay for making the session so much fun.
