J ust thought I would share some pics from our beach vacation. We are having such a great time with the family! The kids are doing so well proving my point once again that it doesn't take a lot of "stuff" to make them happy just a shovel, a bucket, and a beach full of sand will do. As for us "grown ups", well let me just say we aren't starving ourselves to death. I don't know what it is but it just seems everything tastes better at the beach! |

07.02.09PersonalFamily Vacation |
I t's that time of year again ..... the time I look forward to all year long.... the annual family beach vacation. It's kind of funny watching the whole family get ready to go. It reminds me of a bunch of musicians tuning their instruments, everybody playing their own notes with no distinct melody and then all of a sudden... bam!...they're playing your favorite and most recognizable tune. I wonder how we all get there with everything packed and nobody missing but we do. Our pit stop on the way down is at Parson's, located just before Pinehurst on Hwy. 64. They have the best homemade peach ice cream!
I really enjoy every aspect of our vacation including the trip down and back. Sometimes you don't realize how much you need a vacation until you're in the middle of one. This is one of our busiest times of the year but we always take time out for a family vacation. Whatever you are doing this summer.....cookouts with family and friends, a trip to the mountains or a beach trip ......I hope you enjoy your summer and make some good memories! .... a few pics from last years trip...... |
