W hat makes a wedding so special? Is it the wedding dress or the flowers? Could it be the fellowship, the food, or the family and friends? Of course all of these things make a wedding special, but to me the greatest wonder of all is that two people, out of all the people in the world, have found their own special someone ... their soul mate, the person that they will spend the rest of their life with. They will share the joys of life as well as the sorrows. They will share the responsibility of being the one who encourages, and they will have comfort knowing there will be someone there to encourage them.These things they will do out of an indescribable love and commitment they have for each other. When two people realize this, their wedding day is perfect, no matter what else happens. You could tell by the way Ryan and Tracye looked at each other that this was true for them.
Their wedding was rather small and intimate, very fitting for them. Mingled throughout the wedding were tiny details that made it very unique. The boutonnieres and the bouquet were designed with tobacco leaves that were shaped like roses. Like so many southern ladies, Tracye's heritage is in tobacco farming. The venue they chose was Childress Vineyards. a place where Ryan and Tracye like to spend time together just hanging out. It was a very cloudy day that gave the outside photos a very ethereal look that I think complimented Tracye very nicely. The actual ceremony was held in the barrel room, a first for me. It was a perfect wedding and I really appreciated the opportunity to be their photographer, but more importantly, becoming a lifelong friend! |
