NC Senior Session ~ Ryan

've seen Ryan around church for a few years now but never really had the chance to get to know him. I was happy when his mom and dad spoke to me about doing his senior photos. I always thought he would be fun to photograph because of his energy and expressiveness... two things I like in a person when I am photographing them. It was one of my better senior sessions. I'll tell you why, we didn't go all over the place looking for beautiful and unusual backgrounds, but rather spent more time capturing his personality. I shot mostly film which I think caused me to approach the photography differently. Most importantly, Ryan seemed to be entirely comfortable with the direction we were going. Ryan's an outstanding young man and I am so happy to have had the chance to get to know him better.
