11.15.10WeddingsNC Wedding Photography-Ali and Brennon |
W hen youre around weddings week in and week out, you start to notice how love seems to come in so many flavors. Weve shot weddings where love was passionate, where love was a logical choice, where love was funny...this weekend we shot a wedding where love just seemed so pure.
Ali and Brennon tied the knot this past Saturday. They seemed so young to me, but their love for each other was remarkably strong and true. As I watched Ali prepare to walk down the aisle, she was a bundle of nerves. She waited eagerly for the music to start...she peered through the wooden blinds hoping for a tiny glimpse of her soon-to-be at the front of the church. As he walked through the door, they made eye contact. Im sure all he could see was his brides eyes through the wooden slats...but watching her watching him...I could see the innocence and purity of their love for each other. In all honesty, it was probably one of the most beautiful things Ive seen. Now, if I can just get Young Love by the Judds out of my head....or maybe not. Maybe Ill just sit in it for a while. Maybe Ill love my husband today like were 19 again. Congratulations Ali and Brennon... LRB |
Just after the ceremony...probably one of my FAVORITE times to catch the bride and the groom...their emotions just seem so honest. That first moment where its just the two of them--no audience...and me :-) I think this is where the phrase "three's a crowd" must have started. |
Here are some from Ali's portrait session... |
And my sweet little red head, Layla. She couldn't resist Ali--I think she thought Ali was a real life princess. We still have days where I call her "Ali" and she dresses up like a bride (in a little flower girl dress that Ali and her mother so graciously gave her!) --drives her daddy crazy! |
Hahaha...dad has a habit of wanting to get "just one more shot"...I think he pushed Ali to her limit that day! |
