11.13.11 PersonalMocksville, NC {I love a small town} |
T hursday was as close to perfect as it gets, a gentle breeze, warm sun, and a good friend to share with. TomMcCulloh, a real pal and outstanding photographer asked me to come to his hometown of Mocksville. Tom had a job that he needed a little help with and I was more than happy to be of assistance even if all I did was hold his camera. After the job, I asked Tom to show me around town. There's a lot of history in Mocksville and a lot of old buildings and barns. I enjoy getting out and learning about small towns, meeting people and listening to their stories. | This is Miss Imes, a beautiful lady who has lived in the same house her entire life. She's a Christian lady that loves the Lord with all her heart. She still does all the work around her house... mowing, raking, and picking up pecans to make pound cakes and pecan pies. |
