Meredith and Tripp

M
eredith and Tripp were married a few weekends ago at Adaumont Farm out in Trinity, NC. Adaumont is one of my favorite places...I love the wide open spaces...the cozy barn full of adorable little nooks...and I love that its so close to home. Meredith and Tripp are a beautiful couple and had an amazing wedding day. Thank you guys for letting us be a part of your day!

W
hat a wonderful time I had, spending the afternoon with Leigh and her mom. Leigh is such a sweet young lady with a certain elegance that made my job photographing her easy.

NC Wedding Photography: Tracey and Mark

T
racey and Mark met online--I think this was the first time we've had the pleasure of photographing a wedding of two people who met in such a cool way! Their first date saw them battling a tornado and subsequent power outages and road closings. They enjoyed a candle lit dinner at the only restaurant in town with power.

They are such an amazing match! It was so much fun to watch them together...I guess they would be the poster children for the online dating service!

Congratulations Tracey and Mark! Thanks for letting us enjoy your wedding day!

Senior Photography: Logan Norris

L
ogan's mom told me that Logan was a lot like his Grandfather. I knew his grandfather well, we worked together for many years on a line truck at Duke Power. She was exactly right. When you look at someone through the lens, you see so much more. What I saw was a young man that loved life and adventure, and loved the outdoors. Logan said that someday he might serve his country in the Air Force. Our country could use men like him. Logan, I'm sure your grandfather would be very proud of you!

Faces: David and Jason Benham

I
had the pleasure of spending a morning with David and Jason Benham a little over a week ago. I hardly know where to start in order to adequately tell their story. The twin brothers were born in Florida...and early on showed an incredible aptitude for baseball. Their father told them if they were going to play ball and get up early for practices, they would have to make certain they still woke up in enough time to study their bibles and pray. So while many teenage boys were staying out late and sleeping in, the Benham brothers rose before the sun...studied the bible and prayed...then jetted off to baseball practice..then school.

What is the result of all the seeds those boys sowed with sacrifice and dedication? WELL...they both went on to finish college and play major league baseball--one for the Red Sox and one for the Cardinals. They left baseball because of a desire to serve in a different capacity...they began one of the most successful real estate companies in the world along with a foundation that has programs aimed at protecting life, rescuing the abused, feeding the hungry and loving the afflicted. BUT more than all of that, they are STILL passionately committed to prayer and revival. If you want to know more about them--make sure to check out the Benham Foundation and have a look into Charlotte 714 (an event organized by David Benham).

I hope you can see the passion and intensity in their faces....I hope you can see that God has marked their hearts for His Kingdom...
Thank you guys for letting me spend the morning with you all.
