10.21.09 PersonalNC Photography - The "Boys" |
G rowing up in a neighborhood full of boys, it was a natural thing to be involved with sports. For most of my childhood and early adulthood I thought if you couldn't hit it, kick it, or throw it, it just wasn't good for anything. You would think growing up like that I would enjoy watching sports on television ... I don't! I would rather be doing anything else than watching a game on the tube. What I do enjoy is watching kids play. I love to watch them laugh and I love watching how their little faces light up with joy when they get the approval of their coach. It's the purest form of athletics ... play ... just for fun. Here is a photo of Bradyn's soccer team. They play Saturday mornings at the local Y.M.C.A. You can tell by looking at them, they know how to have fun! |
