NC Engagement Photography {Kristen and Roland}

met Kristen over a year ago. We developed a quick bond and I knew instantly that I'd like her--a lot. Kristen likes to run--well, that's sort of an understatement. Kristen likes to run like a maniac. She's done two Iron Man competitions along with a laundry list of other endurance competitions. I've ran with her a few times and she nearly killed me each time :) I remember our first run together--17 miles just weeks after I had finished the Marine Corps Marathon. Have mercy. The highlight of that run for me was hearing her story--how she became a runner AND how she found Roland.

Kristen met Roland while training for a triathlon in Winston Salem. Because she had be burned in the past, she kept him at arms length for a while. But he was quite handsome and she was gorgeous--and the chemistry was there. Fortunately for us, Roland FINALLY popped the question and dad got the opportunity to photograph the sweetness between those two!

Roland, you are a very lucky man--you know Kristen has a level of commitment and devotion that many of us just can't comprehend. How amazing that you are the object of her commitment and devotion! Congratulations guys...can't wait to celebrate the big day with y'all!
