Greensboro Tea Party

have never been one to protest things very much. I like to keep my opinions to myself and generally welcome and consider the opinions of others. Large, loud crowds tend to make me a little edgy so when I was asked by a friend to attend the tea party I was a little unsure. One thing I am sure of is.... rising taxes, arrogant politicians, and uncontrolled spending are getting out of hand. I packed my camera and said what the heck I'll go. I talked to several people there and saw a lot of friends. People from both sides of the isle were there. They were well behaved but very passionate about how they felt. One thing I appreciate about people, regardless of what they believe is their passion. If you speak to me with heartfelt emotion I can almost assure you an attentive ear. When the tea party ended I felt good about coming. It was a beautiful day, people of all sorts had expressed themselves with civility, and I got to do a little photography.
