K aren has left me here unattended since Sunday. Things have been tough, but I think I have a good chance of making it until Thursday ... that's when the peanut butter will run out. Karen usually plays with Layla on Tuesday while Lindsey teaches class at the local college. Since Karen was away, it was my duty to "fill in". I normally keep Bradyn on Tuesday and we meet Karen and Layla at the park in Lexington. Well, this Tuesday I had them both ... just me, alone. " What do you guys want to do?" I asked. Without even a pause they replied ... "let's go to the candy store" ... I am so easy ... I put them both in the wagon and pulled them right up to the front door of the "Candy Factory" and said "get what you want, but just get one". They rushed in and went straight to the biggest piece of candy in the store. When we got back to Lindsey's house this is how they looked. |
